There is poor cell coverage along Bolder Canyon Road between Boulder and Nederland. Be sure to print or download any necessary information in advance. Cell coverage resumes just outside of Nederland.
We also recommend taking note of the WiFi password and access code beforehand, which is available on the “Trips” tab in the Wander app. Cell network strength can vary by topology, time of day, weather, and whether you’re located inside or outside of a vehicle or house.
The Nederland area is home to a variety of wildlife, including moose, deer, coyote, and foxes. To ensure the safety of children and pets, it is recommended to avoid bushes or long grass and to bring some pepper spray when going out for a hike or jog.
While not common, bears have also been spotted in the area. To avoid attracting them, please be mindful of food storage and always use caution outdoors.
Important: Moose can be very dangerous and should never be approached. They are especially reactive to dogs and may become aggressive.
Many homes in this climate are built without air conditioning, including this property. We provide portable fans that can be used to stay cool and comfortable.
For winter stays, it is strongly recommended to arrive in a four-wheel-drive vehicle, as roads leading to the property may be snow-covered.
Vehicles should be properly equipped for winter conditions. Take extra care when driving to help ensure a smooth and safe arrival.
This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule of 10 adults. Additional children are allowed if using the pack 'n play or inflatable toddler bed.
