You can jump on the free shuttle that leaves every 30 minutes for easy transportation to The Village at Palisades. The resort now offers a free shuttle to and from Tahoe City as well! One mile from the resort is a public transportation TART stop at Tavern Inn. This bus will take you to Tahoe City with a short ride where you can connect to locations such as Northstar California Resort. Being close to HWY 89 provides quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas, with just a 16-minute drive to Truckee and an 11-minute drive to Tahoe City. In the winter, enjoy being only a 5-minute drive from the Olympic Valley Ski Resort and less than 10 minutes from Alpine Meadows. Tahoe also has Uber, Lyft, and many taxi companies. Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates. Charcoal grills are strictly forbidden in this county and will result in a $1,500 citation if used. 4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.
