During the months when snow is likely, October through April, a 4WD vehicle is necessary. The driveway to the house is downhill with gentle curves. It is maintained in the winter but 2WD vehicles will likely not make it back up the driveway. A vehicle is needed, there is no Uber or Lyft services. This is a mountainous area. Guests should be prepared for driving on hills and mountains.
