During the months when snow is likely, October through April, a 4WD vehicle is necessary. The driveway to the house is downhill with gentle curves. It is maintained in the winter but 2WD vehicles will likely not make it back up the driveway. A vehicle is needed, there is no Uber or Lyft services. This is a mountainous area. Guests should be prepared for driving on hills and mountains.

• Check-out: 11:00 AM
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available but will not be determined until 2 days prior to check in or check out. Any changes are subject to availability and include an additional fee.

If you require an early check in or late checkout it is recommended to book an additional day.

• Common sightings may include deer, raccoons, foxes, and coyotes
• Insects and occasional rodents are part of the natural environment in rural areas
• While the home is professionally cleaned and maintained, sightings of ants, insects, or signs of wildlife may occur, especially seasonally
• Do not leave food or trash outside or unattended indoors

Winter Travel (October–April)
• Rural, mountainous roads can be unpredictable
• AWD, FWD, or 4WD required
• All-weather tires with good tread required
• Driveway is plowed and shoveled every 3–4 inches of snow
• Shovel provided for guest use
• Salt is not provided—guests are advised to bring some if needed
• Host and service providers cannot provide roadside assistance or tow services
