Dinner and a show at Pappy & Harriet's are a short walk from The Raven, so you can stay out late and stroll home. Before that, swim in the pool with views, lounge on the updated shaded patio, take a turn in the hot tub, and shoot pool or mix drinks at the bar lounge. This five-bedroom main house and casita about a minute from Pioneertown sleeps eight, with plenty of places for a group to spread out.

The Raven is a spacious home with a casita, about a minute from Pioneertown and within walking distance of Pappy & Harriet's. The main house has three bedrooms, and the casita adds two more, each with its own bathroom. Outside, a pool with views and a newly updated shaded patio, a hot tub and a fire pit; inside, a pool table and a bar lounge. It suits groups of up to eight.

-Outdoor Amenities-
The pool area has a patio with views and newly updated shade, plus sun loungers. There is also a hot tub, a fire pit, a BBQ grill and outdoor dining. The yard is not fully fenced. Keep a lookout for hawks and owls during the day and night.

-Living Area-
The home has plenty of space to lounge, with a pool table, a bar and lounge area, an indoor fireplace, a TV, a sound system, books and board games.

-Kitchen and Dining-
The kitchen has a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, kettle and drip coffee maker, with cookware, dinnerware and wine glasses. A BBQ grill and outdoor dining area are outside.

-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
In the main house, the primary bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom, a guest bedroom has a queen bed, and a second guest bedroom has a bunk bed. The casita has a king bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a bedroom with two twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. A travel crib and high chair are available on request.

-Surrounding Area-
The Raven is about 1 minute from Pioneertown and 2 minutes from Pappy & Harriet's. La Copine is about 15 minutes away, Joshua Tree National Park about 20 minutes and the Integratron about 25 minutes.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.

The roads to the house are dirt but passable by low-riding cars.

-Hot Tub-
Hot tub heating is free. Please rinse off before and after using the hot tub, and keep the lid on to keep dirt out and heat in. Absolutely no glass near any water.

-Cell Service-
Please note that there is no cell phone coverage at the property. Wi-Fi is available.

-Pool Heating Fee-
Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85 degrees, please notify us in advance of your arrival, as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you'd like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours' notice to heat the pool.

Pool heating must be requested for the whole duration of your stay.
During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. We kindly ask that you ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before submitting a request, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis.

-Pool and Hot Tub Service-
We have weekly pool cleanings, and this day may fall during your stay.

-Pet Policy-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $1000. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

-Wildlife & Safety-
The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

-Security Camera-
For your security, there is a camera at the front of the main house, in the middle at the edge of the roof. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub.

-Dogs Left at the House-
Please do not leave dogs unattended at the house; if you must, crates are preferred.

-Check-in and Check-out-
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability and our cleaning schedule.

-Late Check-out-
Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.

-Check-out Tasks-
Before you leave, please wash any dirty dishes or load and start the dishwasher, place used towels on the bathroom floor, leave used beds unmade, turn off all lights, check for personal items, and lock all doors and windows. No other cleaning or trash removal is required unless noted elsewhere in this listing.

-Lost and Found-
Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address.

-Quiet Hours-
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please keep voices and music at a respectful level outdoors at all times, and turn off all music, including portable and vehicle audio, during quiet hours. Guests are responsible for any noise fines, and a minimum $1000 fine applies to any noise citation.

-Smoking-
Smoking of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, vapes and cannabis, is not permitted inside the home. Outdoor smoking must be at least 20 feet from doors and windows, and all smoking materials must be fully put out and thrown away. Evidence of indoor smoking will result in smoke-removal charges and a $1000 fee.

-Visitors-
Only guests listed on the reservation may stay at or visit the property unless we approve it in advance, and the total number of people on the property may not exceed the listing's maximum occupancy. Please message us before inviting any visitors.

-Parking-
Please park only in the driveway or other designated parking areas on the property. Street parking is not permitted and may result in fines.

-Restricted Areas-
Any locked closet, room or storage area on the property is reserved for rental supplies and is off limits to guests. Guests may be held responsible for damage or missing items if a locked area is entered.

-Photoshoots and Events-
Events, parties, weddings, photoshoots, filming and other commercial use of the property are not permitted without our written approval in advance. If you would like to use the home for a photoshoot or production, please message us before booking, as additional fees apply. Unauthorized commercial activity may result in a penalty of up to $10,000 and termination of the reservation without refund.

-Damage Waiver Policy-
Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
