La Grange is a reimagined ranch home in Pioneertown, set on 10 acres of open desert where modern design meets western charm. Clean lines, white oak finishes, Taj Mahal stone and natural textures run through the house, and olive trees and lush desert landscaping surround it for privacy. With three bedrooms, a built-in bar and a backyard with a pool, hot tub and fire pit, it suits couples and small groups who want space, quiet and easy access to Pappy & Harriet's.

Across 10 acres of open desert, the property feels expansive and private, with views toward the surrounding mountains. The in-ground pool sits against the desert landscape, and the hot tub is made for long soaks under the stars. A propane fire pit anchors the outdoor lounge, and there is an outdoor dining table, a BBQ grill and several shaded lounge areas with umbrellas. Olive trees and lush desert flora fill the grounds.

The living area blends western character with modern polish. Large windows highlight warm wood tones, and large built-ins hold a smart TV for movie nights. Plush seating invites long conversations, and a built-in bar area is set up for mixing drinks.

-Kitchen and Dining-
The kitchen has a Taj Mahal stone feature wall and countertops, modern appliances and breakfast bar seating, and it is fully stocked with cookware and essentials. It opens to the dining area, so everyone stays connected. Coffee from Joshua Tree Coffee Co. is provided.

-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-
La Grange has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The primary suite has a lounge area with a large smart TV and an electric fireplace, and an open, raised ensuite with a soaking tub and a generous rain shower.

-Surrounding Area-
La Grange is about 9 minutes from Pioneertown, where you can catch a show at Pappy & Harriet's, have a drink at Red Dog Saloon and browse the shops of Mane Street. La Copine and Giant Rock Meeting Room are about 13 minutes away, Old Town Yucca Valley about 15 minutes, and the West Entrance to Joshua Tree National Park about 28 minutes.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.

Please note that La Grange is in a remote location, and the last 0.5 miles to the home are dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.

-Cell Service and Connectivity-
Cell reception in Pioneertown is very limited to nonexistent, depending on your carrier. We strongly recommend turning on Wi-Fi calling before you arrive so you can make and receive calls over the home's high-speed internet, and downloading maps ahead of time.

-Pool Heating Fee-
Should you wish to have the pool heated to 85 degrees, please notify us in advance of your arrival, as there will be a supplemental charge per day for this service due to high fuel costs in this area. If you'd like the pool heated for multiple days, we ask that days be consecutive to conserve energy, thank you! Pool heating is not usually necessary May through September. Please note that we will need at least 24 hours' notice to heat the pool.

During the winter months, please be aware that colder outdoor temperatures may cause the pool to feel cooler than its maintained temperature of 85°F. We kindly ask that you ensure this temperature meets your comfort level before submitting a request, as refunds cannot be issued on this basis.

-Hot Tub Heating-
No fee to heat the hot tub! Please note that because the hot tub is an in-ground hot tub, it is not heated constantly in order to conserve energy. It will take around 30 minutes to heat to 104 degrees from ambient temperature.

-Pool and Hot Tub Service-
The pool and hot tub are serviced Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.

-Pet Policy-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $1000. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

-Wildlife & Safety-
The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

-Check-in and Check-out-
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability and our cleaning schedule.

-Late Check-out-
Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.

-Check-out Tasks-
Before you leave, please wash any dirty dishes or load and start the dishwasher, place used towels on the bathroom floor, leave used beds unmade, turn off all lights, check for personal items, and lock all doors and windows. No other cleaning or trash removal is required unless noted elsewhere in this listing.

-Lost and Found-
Items left behind will incur a minimum return shipping fee of $50, depending on the shipping address.

-Quiet Hours-
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please keep voices and music at a respectful level outdoors at all times, and turn off all music, including portable and vehicle audio, during quiet hours. Guests are responsible for any noise fines, and a minimum $1000 fine applies to any noise citation.

-Smoking-
Smoking of any kind, including cigarettes, cigars, vapes and cannabis, is not permitted inside the home. Outdoor smoking must be at least 20 feet from doors and windows, and all smoking materials must be fully put out and thrown away. Evidence of indoor smoking will result in smoke-removal charges and a $1000 fee.

-Visitors-
Only guests listed on the reservation may stay at or visit the property unless we approve it in advance, and the total number of people on the property may not exceed the listing's maximum occupancy. Please message us before inviting any visitors.

-Parking-
Please park only in the driveway or other designated parking areas on the property. Street parking is not permitted and may result in fines.

-Restricted Areas-
Any locked closet, room or storage area on the property is reserved for rental supplies and is off limits to guests. Guests may be held responsible for damage or missing items if a locked area is entered.

-Pool and Hot Tub Care-
Please shower before using the pool and hot tub, and do not add bath products, oils or bubble bath to the water. Glass is not permitted in or near the water, and pets are not allowed in it. Please keep covers in place whenever the water is not in use. Please avoid using the hot tub right after it has been serviced, while chemical levels are temporarily higher. Misuse that requires extra cleaning, draining or reheating will be charged to the guest, and leaving a cover off may result in a servicing fee of at least $100.

-Photoshoots and Events-
Events, parties, weddings, photoshoots, filming and other commercial use of the property are not permitted without our written approval in advance. If you would like to use the home for a photoshoot or production, please message us before booking, as additional fees apply. Unauthorized commercial activity may result in a penalty of up to $10,000 and termination of the reservation without refund.

-Damage Waiver Policy-
Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
