Exquisite Luxury Home: 115 ft Oceanfront Puako Marine Reserve-As seen on TV--STAYCATION!

Water Sports--$2000+ value!

This 4,500 square foot, elegant Puako oceanfront home is a rare find for its privacy, luxury and location. This private estate home, has 115 feet of oceanfront, enclosed with a lava rock wall and lush, tropical landscaping.

Directly out back is some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world. Kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, snorkeling gear and surfboard provided.

Glorious Oceanfront and Outdoor Living

This prestigious, luxury home is designed to let the ocean environment envelope you while lounging on the enormous lanai. Enjoy the abundant sunshine and tranquil atmosphere of the blue Pacific ocean from the living, dining and kitchen areas as the home’s combined 96-feet of disappearing walls open up to the ocean vistas, gardens, and all lanais. Gaze at the Big Island’s famous volcanic mountaintops. Even spy the island of Maui on the horizon each morning.

Next, ease into the blue pacific for fun and total relaxation. Enjoy the sight of Hawaii’s humpback whales or spinner dolphins playing along the Puako coastline, while you bask in the sun and sophisticated luxury. Whale watching in the winter is truly spectacular from this home’s vantage point. You will be mesmerized as they breech over and over again while the mothers teach their calves how to leap and dive. It’s better than a National Geographic documentary!

Directly in front of the house you will discover some of the best snorkeling and diving conditions in the world. Sea turtles and tropical fish are a regular sight as you explore the underwater paradise. If you prefer to enjoy the turquoise, crystal clear waters from the surface, this home supplies you with stand up paddle boards and kayaks so you can become one with nature, while the others can watch from the lanai while listening to slack key guitar on the outdoor speakers. A few steps away is Paniau Beach for additional turtle watching, swimming and water sports.

The large, beautiful lawn surrounds the property to expand the barbecue crowd or provide plenty of room for outdoor games so the kids (or your inner kid) can romp and play. The gardens offer an abundance of Plumeria flowers, red torch ginger blossoms, fruit trees and an abundance of coconut palms. The smooth-stone, outdoor shower awaits your sandy feet after an ocean swim or a long day at the beach. Or allow us to schedule you a massage therapist to visit you at the home for the ultimate experience in seaside relaxation.

You will plan your evenings around the breathtaking views of the year round colorful sunsets and you may even be lucky enough to see the famous "green flash." Capture breathtaking sunset photos every night to remember your time in paradise.

After the sunset, hone your astronomy skills with Mana Kai’s own telescope, as Mother Earth embraces you with star-studded skies and shooting stars all while you listen to the soothing ocean waves lap across the lava.

Luxurious Indoor Amenities

The home features a gourmet kitchen for the chefs among you to enjoy the ocean view and sway to Hawaiian island tunes while preparing your meals. It has everything you need to prepare your meals… or just relax while you hire one of our private chefs to impress you with their own local culinary masterpiece. Top of the line appliances and granite counter tops are just the beginning. The kitchen is completely equipped with beautiful dishware and cookware to feed a full house in any of three dining areas indoors or out.

Beautiful island style décor and art adorn the home. Mahogany sliding pocket doors disappear to create the perfect open air venue for entertaining and enjoying the home’s close integration with the land and sea. Other features include vaulted ceilings with uplit soffits, a museum-quality, world class shell collection, travertine floors and so much more. The house was designed by a leading Hawaiian architect to channel the flow of the trade winds. Although air conditioning will keep you comfortable in the bedrooms should the trade winds stop blowing, on all but the hottest days each year the ocean breezes and ceiling fans provide the perfect temperature to enjoy this tropical paradise and still allow the sound of the waves to lure you to sleep.

All bedrooms feature stunning ocean views, flat screen tvs and AC. The two master suites upstairs offer superior privacy on opposite ends of the house and feature private lanai balconies and gorgeous en-suite bathrooms (California King Beds in each) . The downstairs suite with two connected rooms (there is a private door between them) share a spacious bath and each room leads directly to the large downstairs lanai. The Hula Room has a queen and a Hawaiian Punee (twin) and the Surf Room has two twins (can be made into a king) and has an extra twin rollaway.

In the evening, you may want to unwind in the media room with a book or enjoy the 55-inch flat screen television with premium cable, movie channels and surround sound. This space also provides a luxurious couch that easily converts into a comfortable queen sized sleeper (for teens).

Should you need to reach the outside world, the home is equipped with a high-speed, wireless internet connection. A private office upstairs supplies two separate desks and a networked laser printer if you must bring your work with you—and a Punee convertible into a queen bed for additional sleeping flexibility with your party.

Nearby Resort Access—Beaches, Golf and More

Consistently rated as one of the best beaches in the world by magazines including Conde Nast and Travel + Leisure, Hapuna Beach's 200 feet of white sand is a premiere destination on the Island of Hawaii. Long, wide, and phenomenally sandy, it has everything one dreams of in a classic Hawaiian beach—abundant sun, surf, crystal clear water, shade, a food shack with famous Hawaiian shaved ice and well-maintained facilities. Best of all, Hapuna Beach is less than 10 minutes from Mana Kai, so grab the beach gear, Boogie Boards, and surfboard and head over at a moment’s notice.

Other popular nearby activities include world class golf at the championship courses on the Kohala Coast resort properties a mere 15 minutes away. The incomparable Mauna Kea Golf Course offers golfers the perfect challenge to match their level of play. Mauna Kea’s sister course, the Hapuna Golf Course, designed by Arnold Palmer, is ranked as one of the most environmentally sensitive courses in America. Just a few miles south are the unforgettable Mauna Lani Resort's two championship golf courses designed by Francis H. I'I Brown.

Our 2-story, 4,500 square-foot villa with an additional 1,500 feet of lanais features 2 upstairs one bedroom suites and 1 downstairs two room connected suite and 3.5 baths and an outdoor shower, plus an office and media room each with a pull-out queen for more flexible sleeping arrangements, especially for the younger members of a larger party.
