Open the glass sliding doors and step out into paradise! Our private backyard oasis with a sparkling blue 30ft in-ground pool and spa surrounded by lush greenery and artificial turf. Our 8ft fence not only features the "Much Love from ATX" mural but also ensures privacy, making it the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. We have a 5-person daybed that can be arranged to have a table in the middle as well. Get ready for your IG pics! Directly under the patio cover, there is a 6-person dining table. Towards the back of the yard, if you make your way around turfed area to the cedar pergola you will find a lounge area and bar seating! You can't have a perfect backyard without an outdoor TV and propane grill! The perfect backyard haven whether you prefer to take a refreshing swim or if you just want to lounge poolside. We heat the SPA for free and can heat OR chill the pool to 85 degrees for free (Mar 1-Nov 1), and $50/day for 90°.
Our four themed bedrooms are inspired by some of our favorite travel destinations (Mexico, SE Asia, Greece, and Cuba). Each bedroom is uniquely decorated with international art and décor collected from our travels around the world. Whether you are a world-traveler at heart or simply enjoy a weekend getaway, you will love the authentic art and decor around each corner.
Cuba: Step into our primary suite which has a tropical Cuban vibe. Enjoy a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a luxury walk-in shower and a double vanity sink. The bathroom was just remodeled Oct23 so it's brand new and sparkling! Notice the Cuba flag decal spanning across the blue wall, subtle but beautiful!
SE Asia: Wow! A handcrafted bamboo accent wall with an incredible window decal created by a local designer/artist. With beautiful art from Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand this room features a queen-sized mattress that feels like sleeping on clouds!
Mexico: Being a Mexican-American family, and Mexico being one of our favorite travel destinations, we put a lot of love into this room! The back wall has an incredible sarape (Mexican blanket) mural and other amazing decor from our travels. You will sleep amazingly on the queen-sized bed and enjoy the full-sized mirror and walk-in closet.
Greece: Saved the best for last! Sit in bed and stare out at the Santorini, Greece view! The whole room perfectly resembles what you would find if you were a traveler in Santorini with our cloud-white bedding and curtains and even the blue bistro table for your morning coffee or the perfect spot to put on makeup. The room features a full-sized bed that has a twin bed that rolls out from underneath (trundle bed).
The living room couch has a pullout queen bed and we have a rollout twin bed with a nice mattress in the master closet that can be used for larger groups.
There is also 5 amazing food trucks at the end of the street and a great lounge bar called Ani's Day & Night (best happy hour in town)
Guests have access to the whole property including the driveway for parking and backyard for lounging, swimming and grilling. The only non-accessible part of the house is the garage and a closet in the master bedroom.
Awesome neighborhood right off of Riverside Dr which offers a quiet spot to retreat to at night. The eastside of Austin (as much of Austin) is up and coming and offers lots of cool spots but we also have a pretty serious homeless epidemic in Austin so don't be alarmed to see homeless at bus stops, under bridges and at all of the traffic lights around the city.
RULES:
*For cancellations, please note that we do charge a payment processing fee on top of our cancellation policy.
We can heat the hot tub/spa for free all year long (with an exception if the weather drops below 40 degrees).
We also CHILL the pool in the middle of summer to whatever temp you want which is a huge benefit as most pools in TX are super hot in June/July/August (you can request for us not to). We can heat the pool to 85 degrees for free (Mar 1-Nov 1), and $50/day for 90°.
We also charge $150 for an unapproved late checkout.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside our property. You can smoke outside the property but we will just ask to make sure the smoke doesn't go inside and dispose of cigarette butts properly. Violation of our non-smoking policy will result in a minimum fee of $500.
We only host groups over the age of 25+ years old. Will need ID verification.
No Unapproved Parties or Events.
Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect.
Quiet hours in Austin start at 10 PM, which means no guests are allowed outside or in the backyard after 10 PM. We know it's gorgeous out there, but our #1 priority is keeping the neighbors happy and this being a successful vacation rental for the long-term—and the only way that works is if this rule is followed.
Note: There is a $500 fine for any noise violations.
