New Leaf Cafe
A welcoming spot for visitors and islanders alike in the heart of Eastsound. Brunch features tide-to-table fare, brunch classics, vegetarian dishes, and handcrafted morning cocktails. Dinner time invites visitors to indulge in seasonal menus inspired by the Pacific Northwest region. Open 5 PM - 9 PM, Thursday-Monday (dinner); 8 AM - 1 PM, Thursday-Monday (brunch); and closed Tuesday-Wednesday. Tip: Their patio area is back for a more laid-back dining spot with good views!
Buck Bay Shellfish Farm
A full Seafood Market with locally caught fish and prawns along with a deli that serves seafood to-go like crab cakes and cooked crab. The newest addition, The Bistro Oyster & Wine Bar, serves creative plates featuring fresh northwest seafood sourced from onsite organic gardens and local farms. A curated wine list plus abundant outdoor seating are also available. Open 11:30 AM - 6 PM daily.
Kingfish at West Sound
An acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant serving creative cuisine which features local ingredients sourced primarily from island purveyors. Reservations, waitlisting, and a sample menu can be accessed through their website. Open 3 PM - 9 PM, Tuesday-Saturday; closed Sunday-Monday. Note: A credit card is required for parties of 6+.
Inn at Ship Bay Restaurant
A seasonally inspired waterfront dining experience showcasing dishes made from fresh, local, and organic ingredients sourced from the grounds of the historic Adams Farmhouse. Beer, wines, and cocktail specials are also available. Updated hours are on the website; reservations may be made via Yelp.
Monti
A restaurant and bar inspired by the love for Italian flavors with two distinct dining areas featuring different menus. They source vegetables, meats, and fish locally plus make everything possible in-house. Open 5 PM - 9 PM, Wednesday-Sunday; closed Monday-Tuesday. Important notes: No reservations. Orcas Island Sailing
A go-to for boat rentals and sailing lessons. With private charters available, guests can learn to sail with their companions, ensuring a personalized adventure. Rental prices vary per boat while sailing lesson rates start at $575. Open 9 AM - 6 PM daily.
Island Hoppin Brewery
The first and only microbrewery in Orcas Island dedicated to crafting quality beers with locally sourced ingredients. They offer a variety of beers on tap from seasonal lagers to barrel-aged sours. Open 11 AM - 9 PM daily. Note: Outside food is welcome; outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Outer Island Excursions
An adventure with San Juan Islands' premier whale watching tours led by experienced captains and naturalist guides. Visitors may witness wildlife such as sea otters, harbor seals, bald eagles, and more. Various tour options plus outdoor activities like kayak tours, rentals, and custom fishing charters are also offered. Open 9 AM - 8 PM daily (tour times vary).
Orcas Island Jazz Festival
A premier jazz event that lights up the Orcas Center for three days every Labor Day weekend, with additional concerts scheduled throughout the year. OIJF is dedicated to celebrating and sharing jazz music with the Orcas Island community and visitors.

July 4th Parade
A celebration with parades, fireworks, fun runs, food, and glamping. The fireworks display is presented over Eastsound, sponsored by the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce.
Orcas Island Winery
A boutique family vineyard and winery committed to crafting premium Washington state wines. They proudly pour up to 10 locally produced and crafted wines featuring reds, whites, rosé, plus naturally sparkling wines. More information on their offerings and events can be found on their website or social media pages. Open 12 PM - 6 PM, Saturday-Sunday and Thursday; 12 PM - 7 PM, Friday; and closed Monday-Tuesday.
Mountain Lake Hike
A 6.0-km moderately challenging loop trail generally which takes an average of 1 h 23 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The best times to visit this trail are April through September. Note: Leashed dogs are welcome.
Moran State Park
A natural gem in the heart of Orcas Island which features over 5,000 acres of lush forests, serene lakes, and stunning vistas. Visitors can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and boating, with scenic views from the summit of Mount Constitution. Open 7 AM - 8:30 PM daily.
