San Roy Beach Access is at the end of San Roy Road on the eastern side of the Eastern Lake outfall, about 1/4 mile south of Scenic 30A and just a 3 minute walk from the home! Eastern Lake is one of our rare coastal dune lakes in SoWal, which periodically open to exchange waters with the gulf. The access has minimal parking. 2. Sugar Dune Beach Access in Seagrove Beach is about 1/2 mile south of Scenic 30A at the end of Beachside Drive on the east side of Eastern Lake. There is a shower and a short boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. 3. Walton Dunes Beach Access has a small parking lot, but no bathrooms, and is located just west of the Deer Lake State Park boundary. This access has no steps-just walk straight onto the beach. One of our personal favorites and just a 3 minute golf cart ride away from the home! **Should you desire to have beach chair service (chairs and umbrellas set-up), the company that provides these amenities is Big Fish Bike & Beach Rental. During busy summer months, it's best to rent your chairs and umbrellas in advance. When making reservations online (or over the phone), you would choose "Seagrove Dunes" as the location. PARKING Six parking spaces available (4 driveway). No street parking allowed. No RV or trailer parking in the driveway. Included are 8 bicycles (adult) and a 6-seater golf cart for your convenience. SEAGROVE BEACH COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS: Seagrove Beach is a charming coastal community that is on 30a, nestled between Seaside and Watersound. The property is located within a short walk to a private community pool and two access points to the beautiful Emerald Coast beaches - one directly to the beach, and one to Eastern Lake, a coastal dune lake that flows right into the gulf- a phenomena that is found in one of 4 places in the World. You ll find restaurants and shops within walking distance, and a quick bike ride will land you in Seaside, a well-known 30A spot with farmers markets, shops, restaurants, and local food trucks to fill your entire party s needs. Take a quick bike ride east in the opposite direction, and you can find yourself at the Big Chill, a popular outdoor space filled with restaurants, outdoor games, and big screen TVs to watch any sporting event your heart desires. 30A is located in between the beach and a 15,000-acre forest that is filled with hiking trails and off-road trails, for those that want to skip the beach and want a different experience. Flying in from out of town instead of driving? Flying into ECP (Panama Beach City) airport is a 30 minute drive to the house. Flying into VPS (Destin airport) is a little over a 1 hour drive. HOUSE RULES *Check-In: After 4PM | Check-Out: Before 10AM *Must be 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is staying on premises. *No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited including back porch/deck. *No parties or events. *Complimentary golf cart can only be operated by guests over 25 years of age who provide verification. Rental agreement requires a valid drivers license and proof of existing auto insurance coverage. *During busier times and due to limited infrastructure, internet connectivity may be affected. No refunds will be given for connection issues no wifi, or slow wifi. *Private Heated Pool **Pool heating is available for an additional fee of $50/day. Must be heated for duration of stay. If selected, it must be requested 48 hours prior to check in and paid before the heater will be turned on. *Home must remain pet free! *There are no refunds for weather related events. We advise trip insurance during hurricane season (May-November) IMPORTANT PRIOR TO ARRIVAL All guests will be required to sign a rental agreement, as well as provide a valid ID that matches with the name of the person that made the reservation which includes: 1) a photo of your government issued ID such as a driver s license and 2) a "selfie". Both should be uploaded to our Happy Stays app.
