December 2025

I arrived at Moondance Private Studio–Cathedral Rock on November 19, 2025, at around 4:00 PM after driving from Southern California. Check-in was very easy and convenient, which made the arrival stress-free. The property immediately caught my attention—the architecture, colors, and breathtaking views felt perfectly aligned with Sedona’s mountains and sky. As soon as I opened the door, I smiled. The interior design was organic, simplistic, and felt brand new. Every detail felt intentional and fresh, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The large windows framed the surrounding nature beautifully, almost like picture frames for the mountains and sky. I even caught myself watching for animals passing by. The shower area, with its nearby window, added to that natural connection and made it a relaxing experience. The appliances were modern, the dishes were plentiful, and everything you’d need to cook—or simply enjoy a rainy day inside—was thoughtfully provided. During my stay, I took several naps, read a few pages (about 15!) of my current book Lincoln, and spent peaceful moments sitting on the bench at the studio entrance with a cup of coffee. The heater came in handy, as some days were cold with light rain. Having a washer and dryer was a big plus, especially for a longer stay. Next time, I would love to bring a friend along and fully utilize the bonfire area. Places like these remind you what you should strive for—peace, intention, and time to reflect on your next goals. I will definitely be back and would love to experience the top floor to enjoy the scenic view from above. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, simplicity, and the true spirit of Sedona.

Peaceful quiet location, great responsive host, and clean accommodation. When you arrive there is not cell service so it was a bit hard to connect to WiFi since you need to be connected to the internet to access the welcome packet with the WiFi code. Parking is tight between a tree and a foundation pillar so be careful parking, we scraped our car pretty badly. Otherwise, nice spot.
