Some places you stay. Mount Vernon Estate you experience. 4 designer bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a private loft suite, sleeping 18 across beds that belong in boutique hotels. Moody, cinematic interiors give way to an outdoor world built for groups: heated pool, hot tub, fire pit, putting green, and outdoor cinema. Inside, a private gym and a game room with a pool table that feels like a private club. Every room tells a story. Every detail was chosen. This is South Austin luxury at its most intentional.
Step through the front door of the main house and the mood hits immediately - dark, textured walls, warm light, and a space that feels nothing like a vacation rental.
๐ก The Main House
Ground Floor
The ground floor flows naturally from front to back. Just past the entry you'll find a half bath, laundry room and the private gym - equipped with a treadmill, spin bike, adjustable bench, and a full dumbbell rack. Beyond that, the fully-equipped chef's kitchen opens into the dining area and living room, where a sculptural green velvet sectional, cognac leather chairs, a veined marble coffee table, and a massive gold equestrian canvas set the tone. The living room opens directly to the backyard - heated pool, hot tub, and the cheetah mural wall are right there.
Bedrooms
Head upstairs and every bedroom has its own personality.
The primary suite is the crown jewel - a king bed beneath a botanical wallpapered vaulted ceiling, a burnt orange velvet headboard, a daybed with trundle for up to 2 additional guests, a private balcony overlooking the pool, a walk-in closet with a vanity nook, and an ensuite bath with a freestanding soaking tub and double vanity.
Guest Bedroom 1 features a queen bed and a twin-over-twin bunk beneath soaring ceilings and a hand-drawn botanical mural wall - sleeping up to 4.
Guest Bedroom 2 is the bunk room - two twin-over-twin bunk beds with trundles offering 2 additional twin beds beneath floor-to-ceiling windows, sleeping up to 6. Both guest bedrooms share a beautifully appointed full bath.
๐ฟ The Outdoors
Backyard
The backyard is where the group gathers. A heated pool and hot tub sit center stage on a warm wood deck surrounded by sun loungers. A pergola shades the outdoor dining table, with a gas grill ready to go. On the side of the house, the outdoor cinema projects onto a white wall with 4 seats and 2 loungers - perfect for a late-night movie under the Austin sky.
Front Yard
Out front, a fire pit circle with 8 Adirondack chairs and a putting green round out the estate grounds.
๐ฑ The Game Room
The ground floor of the second building houses the game room - a moody, designer lounge with a full-size pool table, flat screen TV, green velvet sectional, cognac leather sofa, and a sculptural marble coffee table. It's a private club, not a game room.
โจ The Loft
Head up the stairs and you're in the loft - a bright, playful contrast to the main house's dark drama. "Ciao Bella" is painted across the vaulted wall in bold brushstrokes. The open living area features a queen sleeper sofa, a flat screen TV, a dining nook, a coffee station and a mini fridge. The private king bedroom is calm and considered, with its own ensuite bath featuring a walk-in glass shower and designer tile.
Every space was designed to be experienced - not just occupied.
Guests will have full and private access to both homes and all amenities.
A car or rideshare is recommended to make the most of your stay. South Austin, downtown, South Congress, and most Austin hotspots are a quick 5-15 minute drive from the estate.
๐ Please note that a train passes directly behind the property and can be heard from the house. We provide earplugs at the property for your comfort.
Mount Vernon Estate is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood. We have a zero-tolerance policy for parties, loud gatherings, or disturbances. Please be mindful of noise throughout the day - after 10 PM, no sound should carry beyond the property line in accordance with City of Austin regulations.
๐ญ No smoking anywhere on the property
