Brookside Bliss was an amazing stay for our family's end of summer trip to Spring Lake. The house is a fully renovated Victorian-style with beach town charm, and while our kids were thrown off by the layout quirks at first, they quickly grew to love it. Everything was clean, and the modern amenities meant we had modern comfort in an older home. The backyard sits right on a local lake, and made for some awesome scenery as we let our dog out during the day, and spent mornings on the back porch. Location-wise, if you're bringing kids, you'll want to drive to the beach. Otherwise, it's a really pleasant long walk to get to the sand. No complaints though -- Spring Lake has a ton of beach parking, probably more than any other Jersey shore town. It's also one of the quietest shore towns, despite having plenty of people around. You can always go to nearby places like Asbury Park and Belmar for the full shore experience. Amazing, charming house in one of the most relaxing NJ beach towns!

We had a fantastic 2+ weeks in Spring Lake. The house was great for our needs and accommodated our dogs. Walkable or bailable to local family and beach. We had a couple blips at beginning of our stay and Chris was immediately there to take care of it, even at 10 PM. Are already planning a longer visit next summer!
