Welcome to Western Winds Lodge, a townhome with mountain sophistication and a warm ambiance. This 5-bedroom residence is an ideal home base for families seeking convenience and comfort within easy reach of everything. The home is centrally located between downtown Steamboat and the ski resort. It’s close to walking/biking paths and the local tennis/pickleball center.
Step through the front entry and descend a staircase into the spacious one-level home, greeted first by the beautiful open main living space. Gather for conversation in comfortable seating in front of the gas fireplace.
A large granite-top island is the focal point of the kitchen. The gourmet appliances, gas stove, wine fridge and full array of cookware will delight the chefs in your group. There is also a gas grill on the deck. Enjoy meals as you recount your day’s adventures around the dining table that seats 8 guests.
There are sweeping views through expansive windows from anywhere in the great room. You’ll see all the way down the valley to the Flat Tops mountains. The peaks are equally visible from the deck while soaking in the hot tub in front of an outdoor fireplace.
Back inside, there’s an inviting media room off the kitchen where the group will want to curl up on the sofas for movie night. During the day, the room can be used for quiet office space with a full-size desk, office chair and monitor.
When everyone is ready to rest up for another day’s adventures, the home’s five bedrooms will be welcome retreats. The private primary bedroom features a luxurious king bed and ensuite bathroom with double vanity and separate shower and tub.
The other bedrooms are on the opposite side of the residence. First is a bunk room with a twin over full bunk bed. Across the hall is a queen bedroom. The bunk and queen rooms share a large bathroom with tub/shower combo.
Further down the hall is a room with a king bed that can also be made up as two twins. The ensuite bathroom has a single vanity and tub/shower combo. At the end of the hall is another spacious king bedroom with an ensuite bath featuring a double vanity and separate shower and tub.
Western Winds Lodge is full of amenities for guests’ ultimate comfort, including a laundry room, TVs in every bedroom, air conditioning, and a 2-car garage.
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Colorado's mountain towns are busy with construction each spring, summer, and fall. This home may experience disruption from a nearby project. Give us a call to discuss current activity as it ebbs and flows.

This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups.

In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
