Sunset is truly something spectacular at Glacier Lodge West. With panoramic views of the Steamboat ski area and beyond, this 4-bedroom home has plenty of wow factor from every window.
The great room has two custom antler chandeliers and other touches that add Western spirit to this remodeled home. This open living area boasts cathedral ceilings with grand wooden beams and large picture windows. A floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace with a roaring fire invites conversation to recap the day’s events. An expansive deck offers plenty of room for the whole family to grill out, enjoy a meal, happy hour, or just to soak in the endless views.
Any seat is the best seat in the house at the 8-person dining room table. There are three additional seats at the breakfast bar by the kitchen and additional seating at the game table with amazing views, as well.
The game table is perfect for poker, dominoes, Jenga, or family board games, just a step away from the wet bar equipped with a bar fridge and an antique wine opener. A Sonos sound system throughout the home will have you jamming as you enjoy your mountain home.
A newly updated kitchen is equipped with everything you could need: a side-by-side refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, and lots of counter space for a chef to create.
Also on the main level is the primary suite with cathedral ceilings, a private deck, and valley views right from your king bed. This room also offers a twin daybed for a little one to share the room. The primary ensuite offers dual vanities, a waterfall showerhead, separate w.c., and plenty of closet space.
The lower level of the home holds the remaining three bedrooms and a sitting room with access to the hot tub. A split king suite offers a king bed or 2 XL twin beds with mountain views, TV, lots of light, and an ensuite bathroom. The second king suite with a TV enjoys the same views and an ensuite. Kids will love the third bedroom that sleeps five with a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a twin-over-queen bunk bed in a cozy room with its own flat-screen TV.
A small sitting room leads to the deck access. Step out onto the private hot tub deck, tucked away from the rest of the living areas, and you will soon be transformed. Enjoy this quiet oasis with valley views as you soak away the adventures of the day.
The laundry room is also on this level, making it easily accessible from the bedrooms. The garage level has boot warmers and hooks for hanging your gear.
With easy access to the mountain using our complimentary shuttle, Glacier Lodge West offers all you could want in a mountain home – wide open views, room for everyone, and a private retreat to call home.
This home is pet-friendly with an additional fee and written approval. Please contact us for details.
