Trails Edge Lodge offers exciting ski-out access for families and groups seeking a large, comfortable home with lots of amenities. Ski from your back door straight to the gondolas via the beginner Right-O-Way trail, and return at the end of the day (or for lunch!), walking up a path from the ski run to the house.
Remodeled with contemporary mountain style from top to bottom, Trails Edge Lodge offers roomy and fun lodging ideal for a family or group gathering.
A large open-plan great room offers multiple sitting areas on numerous couches and plush chairs. Enjoy a large-screen TV in one area or a toasty gas fireplace in another- the perfect place to gather with friends and family and relax. Loads of windows offer natural light and a game table makes for a place to challenge a friend at cards.
A fully equipped professional kitchen will allow you to create family meals with plenty of prep space and a large center island. Granite countertops, refinished floors, and new appliances are just some of the upgrades to this wonderful space. An adjacent dining area includes an 8-person dining table, a 6-person breakfast table, as well a breakfast bar with seating for three. A small deck has a gas grill for another cooking option.
Also on this level is a laundry room, access to the 2-car garage, a powder bathroom, and ample coat storage and cubbies in the front entryway.
With seven bedrooms and five bathrooms, guests will enjoy ample sleeping options. The upper level includes the spacious primary king bedroom with a fireplace, a TV, a handy desk for remote workers, and private deck access. A beautiful ensuite includes a jetted tub, a walk-in shower, and dual sinks. A split king suite next door has a TV and vanity with a sink and a shared hall bath. Two more upper-level bedrooms include a king suite with a TV and private bath, and another split king room that shares the hall bath. Both split king rooms can be used as a king bed or two XL twins. In the foyer at the top of the stairs, plush chairs offer a nice sitting area to relax with a book.
Just one flight down is the super fun kid's room complete with five twin beds, each named after a different ski run, a TV with Netflix, and an Xbox. On the far wall is a convenient vanity with two sinks, two separate toilets, and a shower. Just when it couldn't get any cooler, down one more level, kids of all ages will love the rec room with billiards, foosball, an authentic Ms. Pacman machine, a sitting area with a TV, a wet bar, and a half bath.
The lower level features a fun family room with a 75" Smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating. A sauna on this level is an added bonus to help sore muscles recover after a day of mountain adventure.
Two comfortable bedrooms are on the lower level, one queen and one split king, and share a bathroom. Both bedrooms have new carpet, lighting, and furniture and each has a vanity with a sink. All bathrooms have been upgraded with new tile, flooring, lighting, countertops, and fixtures.
Head outside to a large lower patio with a private hot tub to relax under the stars at the end of a magical day on the mountain. In warmer months, a covered patio area is a great place to hang out or enjoy miles of hiking trails on the ski area. If the kids aren't worn out, they will enjoy running around and playing in the large yard.
Also on the lower level is a large ski and gear storage room that is such a convenience when coming off the mountain, as a place to remove and dry your gear before heading into the house. Located off the lower patio, this tiled room has boot dryers, ski racks, and access to both the lower family room or take the stairs back up to the kitchen or great room.
In addition to a 2-car garage, there is parking for 2 cars in the driveway. Four-wheel drive is recommended in winter months as Trails Edge Road is steep.
SKI ACCESS: Guests can walk out of the ski room on the home's lower level and ski down a path that leads to the green-rated Right-O-Way ski run. To return to the residence, you'll ski back to path off Right-O-Way and walk up to the home.
Ski access is subject to snow conditions and weather. Availability may vary depending on resort operations.
