Raptor Ridge is a striking mountain retreat that combines modern design, sophisticated furnishings, and state-of-the-art amenities to create a sense of zen-like elegance. This five-bedroom residence has a bird’s eye view of the Yampa Valley that greets you the moment you step into the main living space. Soaring ceilings and sky-high walls of windows blur the lines between indoors and out.
In the living room, a fireplace anchors the space inviting you to unwind and enjoy views of the Steamboat Ski Resort on one side and the valley beyond on the other. The open-concept layout flows seamlessly into the gourmet kitchen that is a chef’s playground, with two sinks, two dishwashers, Wolf appliances, a walk-in pantry, and a wine refrigerator. The island stretches nearly the length of the kitchen and has enough counter space to prep for any entertaining needs. There are also 4 counter stools. An outdoor grill is steps away on the deck.
Meals around the 8-person dining table will be magical. In the evenings you’ll take in the sunset, and in warmer weather open the sliding glass doors to the covered deck to create an al fresco experience. Additional deck seating includes a 6-person dining table. Enjoy your morning coffee out in the fresh air on either the front or back deck, or in the cozy corner next to the dining area. If you must do a bit of work, settle into the closed-door office with such inspiring views that you won’t complain a bit about having to send off a few emails.
Head downstairs to the lower level, where the energy shifts into play mode. Enjoy movie or game nights in the family room with an arcade game, plenty of board games, a big-screen TV and wet bar with dishwasher and beverage refrigerator.
There’s an in-home gym with a Peloton bike, Tonal smart strength system, and free weights. After your workout or day on the slopes or trails, recover in the cold plunge or soak in the outdoor hot tub. There’s a full bathroom with a double vanity and steam shower across from the exercise room.
Each of the home’s five bedrooms offers a peaceful sanctuary after days filled with mountain adventures. The primary king suite is on the main level and features a large uniquely designed ensuite bathroom. The double vanity with suspended mirrors is set in the middle of the room allowing for beautiful views to the west. Indulge in the soaking tub or large shower, and the toilet features a high-tech bidet system. Step onto the private deck for stargazing or admiring the sunset.
The remaining bedrooms are on the lower level. First to a queen bedroom that features an en-suite bathroom with double vanity and large shower. A king bedroom connects to a bunk room through a Jack & Jill bathroom with a single vanity and tub/shower combo, making it an ideal setup for families. The bunk room features a queen over twin bunk bed and is also accessible through a secret door from the family room.
The fifth bedroom is a king with fireplace and ensuite bathroom with double vanity.
For guests’ convenience and comfort, Raptor Ridge features an in-home sound system, Lutron lighting system, air conditioning, a full laundry room on each level, a large mud room and an extra-large two-car garage with a vertical clearance that easily accommodates vehicles with ski racks, along with ski storage and boot warmers.
