Welcome to Valley View Retreat, a classic "walk to ski" mountain home conveniently located on the prestigious Ski Trail Lane, where expansive decks capture sweeping views of the Yampa Valley. Just minutes from the ski resort’s base area, this five-bedroom home combines the warmth of traditional alpine style with thoughtful modern updates and a touch of nostalgic charm.
Step inside to a welcoming living room with vaulted ceilings, rich wood accents, and a grand stone fireplace that sets the tone for cozy mountain evenings. This is a space created for conversation, connection, and soaking in the views that give Valley View Retreat its name.
The updated kitchen is both functional and inviting, with stainless steel appliances, a large island, and a breakfast alcove surrounded by windows that perfectly frame the views. The adjacent formal dining room, with seating for eight, is ideal for family meals and festive gatherings. On warmer days, step out onto the deck to grill, dine al fresco, or gather around the firepit.
A few steps up from the kitchen, a separate media room with a gas fireplace and large-screen TV offers a cozy retreat.
Upstairs, the primary suite features a king bed and ensuite bath with a double vanity, jetted tub, and separate shower. A private office with a large desk is located through the primary bedroom. Also on this level is a second bedroom with a split king bed and nearby hall bath with a walk-in shower.
Downstairs, the lower level is designed for fun and relaxation. A spacious family room invites guests to sink into the reclining sectional, play a round of foosball, or unwind with a movie on the big-screen TV. Step outside to the lower patio with a private hot tub and more breathtaking valley views.
Three bedrooms are located on this level. A king bedroom features an ensuite bath, double vanity, and tub/shower combo. The second king bedroom also has an ensuite bathroom. There's a bunk room with two sets of twin-over-twin bunks and a bathroom with a shower/tub combo.
Throughout the home, thoughtful details, from Audubon Society bird prints to a vintage cuckoo clock, add personality and warmth to this mountain retreat.
This home features air conditioning in the kitchen, living room, dining room, and primary bedroom.
For guests' convenience there is a laundry room, large mudroom with boot warmers and bins for outdoor gear, and parking for one car in the garage and two additional vehicles in the driveway.
