The ski slopes can’t get much closer than this luxurious residence. A few steps down from the deck at Starlight Ridge and you’re gliding onto the Stampede run. When summer rolls around you walk right out to the hiking and biking trails on Mount Werner.
You’ll enter this spectacular home straight from the underground parking garage of the Edgemont building into a private foyer. Contemporary décor with Western touches welcomes you into the residence. Off to the left is the private primary king suite with a wet bar complete with sink and beverage refrigerator, gas fireplace, and ensuite bathroom with double vanity and separate tub and shower. Step out on to the suite’s balcony overlooking the pool and hot tubs, gondola and sweeping views looking down the Yampa Valley towards the Flat Top mountains.
Around to the right of the residence’s entry is a full laundry room, then another secluded king suite with fireplace and views of the ski slope. The ensuite bath has a separate tub and shower, and double vanity. There is also a workspace with a desk and chair in the entry to the bedroom.
Heading straight ahead from the foyer, the residence opens up before you. As you walk into the spacious open living area you can almost reach out and touch the skiers and snowboarders schussing by the large windows.
The kitchen features everything a gourmet chef would need – Viking stove and range, wine refrigeration, and a large island for prep, serving, and seating for six guests. There’s a mudroom off the kitchen as you come straight from the ski slopes on to the deck and through the kitchen.
In warmer weather, enjoy the deck off the kitchen with its gas grill, dining table for eight and outdoor gas fireplace.
The main living area has a double-sided fireplace that separates the living area from the dining room. Enjoy leisurely meals around the dining table that seats eight guests and with views of the ski slopes and base area.
Right off the living room, settle in for movie night or the big game in the media room with big screen TV and comfortable couches.
Down the hall from the main living area, you come to a queen room with ensuite bathroom that features a double vanity, shower, and views of the beautiful Yampa Valley from south to north and down to the base area.
Next door is a room with two full beds. It shares a balcony and bathroom with the bunk room at the end of the hall. The bath has a double vanity, and separate shower and tub. The bunk room has one set of twin over queen bunk beds.
For guests’ comfort and convenience, the residence enjoys air conditioning in summer.
There is parking for one vehicle in the underground parking garage. Note: Additional vehicles cannot be accommodated in the garage or elsewhere on the Edgemont property.
Starlight Ridge is in the Edgemont building that’s located at the edge of the Stampede green-rated ski run. The community amenities include a heated outdoor pool and hot tub with mountain views, an outdoor fire pit, a sunny indoor lounge with a gas fireplace, and fitness room. You’ll be able to walk out to the ski slope directly from the ski locker room.
