Lariat Ridge Lodge, a beautiful mountain retreat with expansive views across the Yampa Valley, is conveniently located in the Chadwick Estates neighborhood. In winter, guests can take a quick Moving Mountains complimentary shuttle ride to the ski resort base area. In summer and fall, guests can walk out to a paved trail running along Burgess Creek for walking and biking.
The south-facing main living area has tall cathedral ceilings and a wall of windows allowing the light to flood the home. A gas fireplace and big screen tv provide a focal point for the room. French doors open out to a spacious deck with a grill, outdoor dining table that seats 8 guests, and fabulous views looking south down the Yampa Valley and Flat Top Mountains and up to the ski slopes.
The kitchen boasts granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, double ovens, two dishwashers, large Wolf gas stove, a warming drawer, and an island with plenty of prep space and counter seating. Enjoy meals together at the adjacent dining table with seating for 8.
Fun times begin in the lower-level entertainment room that has a western saloon-type vibe. Enjoy playing pool or poker while keeping an eye on the big game on the big screen TV. Or settle into the theater-style seats for movie night. This space opens out to the lower-level patio with a large sunken hot tub and firepit, and more spectacular views.
Everyone has their privacy in the five ensuite bedrooms that are spread throughout the home. Each bedroom opens to a deck or balcony offering guests beautiful views. The primary king bedroom is on the main level with an ensuite bathroom featuring a double vanity, large soaking tub, and steam shower. There is also a cozy fireplace, TV, and French doors that lead out to the main deck.
On the lower level, the king bedroom has French doors out to the lower patio and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in steam shower. There are two bedrooms on the upper level, each with doors out to private balconies. One bedroom has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The other has a king and two twins and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Between the two bedrooms is a loft area that looks over the main living room below. You can get some work done on the large desk and then take a break and play some foosball.
The fifth bedroom is in a separate guest house. The studio layout has a queen bed, kitchenette, bath with a shower, and washer/dryer.
For guests' convenience there are boot dryers, high speed Internet, an in-home sound system, an elevator, and a laundry room with one washer/dryer set, plus another set in the garage. Also, there is air conditioning in the primary bedroom on the main level and in the bedroom on the upper level with a king and two twin beds. Two garages accommodate 4 vehicles and there is space for two more in front of the main garage.
