European-inspired floor to ceiling imported windows naturally bring Vermont's greenery into every room of the house. The main level of the home features a spacious open flow concept and radiant floor heating with a gourmet chef style kitchen, oversized center island, subzero fridge, large 48" 8-burner stove, bar sink, and mini beverage fridge. The double French doors off the kitchen take you to a spacious deck to enjoy lunch on the outdoor dining table or take it all in from the Adirondack chairs. In the living room you will find a sleek Italian adjustable leather couch, perfect for enjoying the stone surround wood-burning fireplace. The adjacent full bathroom with walk-in shower and custom tile floor is considered the “powder room”.
All four bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms so all guests can experience the privacy of their own suite. The main level bedroom, called the "Manhattan Room", has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pond and mountains. This bedroom has large built-in custom cabinets, closet, tv, and comfortable chair for taking in the view. The ensuite bathroom has a modern walk-in shower with tile throughout. Upstairs there are two primary bedrooms, called the “Upper-Right” and “Upper-Left”. The Upper-Right bedroom's unique architecture features multi-level high vaulted ceilings, grand scaled windows, a King bed, and its own sitting area with a couch, gas fireplace, tv, and mini-fridge. The ensuite bathroom was inspired by Japanese culture with a deep soaking tub and open walk-in shower combination with built in shelves and a modern bidet toilet. The oversized Upper-Left bedroom also offers a King bed and has expansive windows that engulf you in gorgeous Green Mountain views. Enjoy the gas fireplace and large TV for late night movies in bed. This room also features a home office area with workspace for two. This primary bedroom also has a Japanese inspired bathroom with soaking tub, walk-in shower, double sink vanity, and bidet toilet.
The lower level offers a nature-inspired private bedroom suite with a Queen bed, pretty pond views, and an ensuite bathroom with shower jets and modern cabinetry. The lower level also hosts a second living room and game room with a cozy couch, oversized leather ottoman, electric fireplace, and a tv providing another great spot to relax, or take in the game or a movie. The couch opens to a Queen bed with a memory foam mattress for comfort and extra guests. The game room includes a pool table, classic arcade games, and dart board. A double slider door provides easy walkout access from the game room to the yard with lounge chairs and pathway to the pond. The swimming pond offers a dock for laying out or diving into the clean spring-fed pond. Green Mountain Haus is a home that truly has it all!
