There may be poor cell coverage in the greater Stowe area. We recommend taking note of the WiFi password and access code beforehand, which is available on the “Trips” tab in the Wander app. Cell network strength can vary by topology, time of day, weather, and whether you’re located inside or outside of a vehicle or house.
Snow plowing begins automatically when snowfall reaches more than 3–4 inches, so there is no need to call the office to request plowing. Private plowing contractors service each property as quickly as possible; however, specific plowing times cannot be requested.
If you hear the plow and are able to move your car, doing so will help keep the parking area clear and in its best condition. Please note that Wander does not provide plowing services directly—contractors are independent and operate on their own schedules.
Please be aware that wildlife populations including black bears are high in the area throughout spring, summer, and fall. We kindly remind families to keep a close eye on children, avoid leaving food outside (including residue in the grill and fire), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed.
Important: Keep all cars locked, as bears may try to open them in search of food.
This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule. Please make sure that the total number of guests accompanying you (including both children and adults) doesn’t exceed the indicated maximum occupancy above to avoid cancellation of your stay and additional fees.

Guests traveling with a service animal or emotional support animal must disclose this at the time of booking or prior to arrival so the team can ensure proper accommodations and compliance with house guidelines.
