Surf Pines

Oh my goodness, this place was so memorable. It was exactly what our family needed for a last-minute spring break getaway. The first day was super stormy and so we hunkered down and enjoyed the storm from the comfort of the living room. We got some beautiful evening weather on day 2 and the walk down to the ocean was perfect. Beautiful sunsets and nature-watching. An easy drive to both Astoria and Seaside. Everything was idyllic and welcoming, from the snacks to the Nespresso morning coffee to the cozy robes. Can’t wait to go back!

This place is a wonderful escape near the coast. We loved the elevated living space (stairs weren’t a problem for us) and the views are amazing. We enjoyed the modern architecture and open layout of the kitchen, dining and living room. The house is well equipped with everything we needed for a week-long stay.

What a lovely home! We stayed at the Surf Pines Sanctuary in Warrenton for our family’s July 4th holiday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The wall of windows in the main living area offered a stunning, panoramic view—we were treated to a peaceful wildlife show each morning with deer, birds, and neighbors walking their dogs through the open field below. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautifully appointed, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with high-end appliances, quality cookware, and everything we needed. We especially enjoyed an evening around the outdoor fire pit making s’mores—and the endless supply of firewood was such a thoughtful bonus. We absolutely loved our stay!
