A public transportation (TART) stop is located 1.5 mile away from the home where you will find a TART stop at Alpine Transport Center. From here you can access routes that will take you all over the Tahoe area from Tahoe City to Northstar California Resort and Kings Beach. Being close to HWY 89 provides quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas with just a 20-minute drive to Truckee and a 10-minute drive to Tahoe City. In the winter time enjoy being only a 2-minute drive to Alpine Meadows and a 10-minute drive to Palisades Tahoe ski resort. Reno airport and casino nightlife is just under an hour by car.
