About the property

Welcome to The Spot at Smith Rock, a secluded, design-forward retreat, purposefully designed for guests who value space, quiet, and access to one of Oregon’s most iconic landscapes. The thoughtfully appointed Scandinavian-styled residence sits on six, breathtaking acres - perfect for couples, friends, and small groups - and offers rare privacy, uninterrupted desert skies, and an atmosphere meant to slow you down.

The property serves as the perfect retreat for those looking for a welcoming space. Step outside and into expansive and immersive 360 degree views of Smith Rock. Take it all in beside a campfire or on a starry night in the hot tub - enjoy a coffee, a cocktail or a meal surrounded by Smith Rock and the Crooked River.

We intentionally limit occupancy and booking density to preserve the experience of the home and the land around it. Rates reflect privacy, space, and access — not just square footage. We do not discount peak dates, holidays, or last-minute stays, as these are often when guests receive the greatest value from the property.

This home is best suited for respectful guests who appreciate quiet evenings, thoughtful design, and the natural surroundings.

Our Offerings:

  • Private hot tub under true dark-sky conditions
  • Quiet mornings with unobstructed high-desert views
  • Minutes from Smith Rock climbing and trails, without the crowds
  • Designed for conversation, connection, and rest — not screens
  • Ideal for 2–4 adults seeking a destination stay (not a crash pad)
