Nestled above El Alma’s famous Rooftop patio and Terry Black’s world renowned BBQ joint, the two home compound is steps from Austin’s most iconic spots, trails and swimming holes.
The combination of privacy and convenience of this 13 bed compound is unmatched in the Austin area and makes a perfect home base for friends, families, Bridal parties, and corporate groups who want the Ultimate Austin Experience.
The Retreat has two large and well appointed kitchens than will entertain your entire 24 person crew comfortably. Each is appointed with commercial appliances, large islands that open to main living and outdoor living spaces with incredible views. Kitchens are well equipped with wine fridge, beverage fridge and cooking supplies.
The open kitchens seamlessly connect the Great Rooms and Dining Rooms. The Great Rooms are full of windows, gas fireplace, Sonos surround sound and large 4k TVs - great for watching sports or binging your favorite Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max or Apple TV shows.
For dinner gatherings, both homes offer large indoor and outdoor dining options, with beautiful appointments like a gorgeously modern chandelier and Sonos ceiling speakers.
The main living areas of both homes open to a huge covered outdoor kitchen, living, and dining areas that are arguably the best spaces in these great homes. Each outdoor area has commercial gas grills, large dining table, couches, captain chairs and ceiling fans. The houses are surrounded by huge Heritage Oaks that keep the property cooler in the summer months, but also allow for incredible skyline views.
The Primary bedrooms are the real show stoppers and both have the feeling of living on Central Park with views of downtown within a private canopy of Heritage Oaks. When you wake in the morning and open the blackout curtains to private balconies with unobstructed views of dazzling Downtown and West Austin. Each room have luxurious ensuite bathrooms with bidets, walk-in shower, and soaking tub with private views of downtown through large windows.
The Retreat has a total of 9 KING sized beds in private bedrooms with 13 total beds that offer comforts of home in a luxury hotel setting. Shutters and blackout blinds keep the rooms dark and cool in the summer, but once you open them you have beautiful natural light that invades the space.
Each home has large family game rooms with amenities that include billiards table, ping pong, arcade, Sonos, TV, couch and chairs, a turntable with an abundance of records.
Each Home has a Gym and includes items such as Peloton, elliptical, weights, punching bag, yoga mats and resistance bands.
Each home has multiple executive office areas so you can work as hard as you play. High Speed internet, WIFI and Ethernet connections, sit/stand desk and HD Video equipment.
Guests have access to the entirety of both side-by-side homes that include, front/backyard, private pools and hot tubs. The spa is free to heat, but there is a $100 per day charge to heat each pool.

The retreat is centrally located so a rental car is not required, but we offer plenty of parking. The area is highly walkable to many of Austin's top-rated amenities with many rideshare, and scooter options.
