Hawaii has a special place in our hearts. I lived on Maui for 5 years in my twenties. My oldest son was born there. My mom lived on Oahu in her twenties as well. My husband and I were married here in Waikoloa on the Big Island and the beautiful Anaehoomalu Bay. We always knew we would have a home here.

Everything you need is at your fingertips!

Queens and Kings shopping center is across the street and has restaurants, shopping, movie theatre, beauty salon, groceries, bike rentals and more!

The beautiful Anaeho'omalu Bay(A-Bay) is 1 mile from our condo. Hawaii Ocean Sports operates an equipment shack on this beautiful beach and rents a great variety of beach toys and larger equipment like paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and hydro bikes to beachgoers. This is a great opportunity to try out these sports without having to haul the equipment yourself.

Venture down in the morning and you may see the local teams of Waikoloa Canoe Club paddling out on the classic Polynesian outrigger canoes!

Lava Lava Beach Club is a wonderful restaurant with casual toes-in-the-sand dining so you never miss beach time. It also has fun activities such as corn hole and other things to do while you're waiting.

Waikoloa Beach Resort is located on the Kohala Coast on the North West side of the Big Island. Named the Kohala coast or the "Gold coast" which describes the beautiful golden sand beaches! I believe the Big Island contains all that the neighboring islands offer in one place and that is why we love it!

You can go North to the rain forests and enjoy a day of hiking waterfalls and black sand beaches.

You could go East to Hilo and enjoy botanical gardens and more waterfalls. Venture to the volcano side and feel like you've arrived on a different planet.

Go to the top of Mauna Kea and see more stars than you've ever seen and maybe even snow! Jump off the cliffs at the southernmost part of Hawaii.

Kona has shops and surf and farmers markets.

And finally my favorite place and the location of our villa, Waikoloa, where you will find the most beautiful white sands beaches in the world.
