Grillbird Teriyaki

There are also several breweries and wineries to explore.

Lincoln Park

A major, multi-purpose park with wooded trails, playgrounds, picnic areas, and scenic views of Puget Sound. Visitors can also enjoy recreational activities such as hiking, beach access, and sports fields. Perfect for walking and hiking. Open 4 AM – 11:30 PM daily.

Tip: You can access the beach walk by heading down Lincoln Park Way to Lowman Park and continuing south. For a quicker route, take the steps at the intersection of Wright Ave. and Ledroit Pl., which lead directly to Lowman Beach Park.

Paddleboarding & Kayaking

The nearest water access is at Lowman Park, where you can enter the Sound directly from the beach. For calmer waters, consider heading to Sunset Beach or Tibbetts Beach at Lake Sammamish, about a 30-minute drive from the house, for a more tranquil paddleboarding or kayaking experience.

Tip: Two inflatable paddleboards and an inflatable kayak are available for your use, along with a selection of life jackets in various sizes.

Westwood Village Shopping Center

A vibrant shopping area just 10 minutes away from the home. Offers a variety of retail and dining options, including grocery stores, cafes, and specialty shops. Open 10 AM - 8M PM on weekdays; 7 AM - 10 PM on weekends. Individual store hours vary.

Solstice Park

A nearby park offering six public tennis courts, a short hiking trail leading to a "sundial" for marking the equinox and solstice, and a community garden and p-patch. The park includes a water fountain and benches. Open daily from 4 AM - 11:30 PM.

Kirkland

A vibrant lakeside town that offers a perfect half-day or full-day getaway, featuring accessible beach parks for water activities and scenic views. Its walkable downtown features a variety of shops and restaurants to explore. On sunny days, consider renting a Duffy boat from Duffy Electric Boats NW to take in the picturesque Lake Washington coastline.

Bainbridge Island

A picturesque, quaint destination just a short ferry ride from downtown Seattle. No vehicle is needed, as the island's downtown area—with its artisan shops, waterfront restaurants, and lush parks—is conveniently within walking distance of the ferry terminal. Just take the Fauntelroy ferry terminal to get there.

Vashon Island

A short 20-minute ferry ride from the Fauntleroy terminal, Vashon Island offers a peaceful retreat with minimal commercial activity. Its small downtown area features a handful of eclectic shops and restaurants, while Rabb's Lagoon provides a quiet beach perfect for paddleboarding and soaking up a summer day.
