West Vail is known for its mix of full-time residents and vacation homes, giving the neighborhood a relaxed, authentic mountain-town atmosphere. The area sits along Interstate 70, making it easy to get in and out of town.
Guests will enjoy nearby grocery stores, casual restaurants, and outdoor recreation right at their fingertips. In winter, you’re just minutes from the slopes of Vail Ski Resort, one of the largest ski areas in North America. In summer, the area transforms into a hub for hiking, biking, and exploring the surrounding Rocky Mountains.
The home is conveniently located in West Vail, providing easy access to Vail Village, Lionshead, grocery stores, restaurants, and outdoor activities.
The free Town of Vail bus stop is just a short walk away, offering quick and convenient transportation throughout Vail without the need to drive.
Vail Village and Lionshead can be reached in minutes by bus or car.
Parking is available for up to 2 vehicles directly at the property.
During winter months, AWD or 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended due to snow and icy road conditions.
Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is approximately 35 miles away, and Denver International Airport (DEN) is about a 2-hour drive, depending on weather and traffic conditions.
There is a separate guest house located on the property that is occupied by a full-time tenant. The guest house is completely separate from the main home, and guests will have private use of all advertised indoor and outdoor spaces.
During winter months, Vail receives significant snowfall. We strongly recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle for safe travel and easier access to the property.
This home does not have air conditioning. Like most mountain homes in Vail, temperatures are typically comfortable year-round, and opening windows in the evening provides natural cooling.
