The Orange Peel

The Orange Peel is a popular, smoke-free concert venue located in the heart of Asheville. The best part about The Orange Peel is that you will feel up close and personal with the performers no matter where you stand.

Ticket prices vary depending on the performance, but some start as low as $10. You can check out upcoming events on the website

Grey Eagle

In 1994, The Grey Eagle got its start in a former garage and paint room of a Chevrolet dealership. Today, the Grey Eagle is Asheville’s longest-running all-ages venue and has hosted over 10,000 different bands and artists.

For most shows there are no age restrictions and children under 6 years old don't require a ticket. In case you're wondering, there is a bar serving classic cocktails, local wines, and beers. Tip: There is a small lot next to the venue and free parking on Clingman Ave. and Haywood Rd. 

Tickets can be bought online for a discounted price or in-person at the box office with a small surcharge. You can check out the calendar online to get more information on pricing and upcoming performances. 

Wortham Center for the Performing Arts

Wortham Center for the Performing Arts is another popular locale for music, dance, and theater performances. It's mostly known for headlining independent acts—perfect if you're the type who likes discovering new artists.

Tips: Most performances host pre-show events in the foyer, so you may want to arrive a little early. There are several parking decks, surface lots and metered on-street parking at varying rates near the theater. For more information on upcoming events, check out the website

Isis Music Hall

Some history: In 1937, Isis Theater was built as a single screen movie house and 20 years later, it began its transformation into a restaurant and music hall. Today, Isis continues to host an array of unique experiences from seated dinner shows to standing room concerts.

If you're looking for a fun date-night spot or an evening with friends, Isis Music Hall is a great place to visit. It offers a variety of musical performances to fit everyone’s taste, including jazz, Americana, rock, funk, and Afrobeat, to name a few.

If you're seeking a unique and authentic Asheville experience, Salvage Station is a must-do. Apart from musical performances, they also offer a rotating menu of Southern/New Orleans bites in their on-site restaurant, Root Down Kitchen.

There is paid parking on-site. Otherwise, they also offer free parking and a complimentary shuttle service every 30 mins at these two lots: 608 Riverside Drive and 36 Montford Avenue.
