The Jud Wiebe Trail is a relatively short, but rather steep loop offering breathtaking views of Telluride Ski Resort and the entire valley. Named after the esteemed forest ranger Jud Wiebe, this trail can be hiked from Aspen Street or Tomboy Road, providing year-round accessibility on the southern side of the mountain. With a little over 3 miles of scenic beauty, a 1,200+ feet elevation gain, and a looped path, this trail is a haven for hiking, horseback riding, and mountain biking enthusiasts. For the best experience, set out to visit this popular spot from May through October; please note that the trail becomes notably hazardous and icy in the winter months, presenting risks regardless of one's level of experience. This experience takes over 2 hours to complete, offering a personalized journey depending on your pace.

Tip: Good news- your furry friends are able to join you on the trail as long as they are on a leash!
