Heading out to Port Orford soon? Whether you're simply passing by town or staying at Wander Orford Cliffs, check out these activities you don't want to miss.

Port Orford Heads State Park 

• Distance from Wander Orford Cliffs: 1 mile 

• Location: Port Orford Heads St Wayside, Port Orford, OR 

The park is located on a scenic bluff above the city and has three main walking trails that run through it: the Cove, Tower and Headland.

Depending on the time of the year, the trails offer spectacular views of commercial fishing boats, gray whales, orcas, California and Steller's sea lions, and seabirds. 

South Coast Tours

South Coast Tours offers wildlife kayak tours, kayak fishing tours, snorkeling, whale watching tours and surf lessons. Season runs from April to October. 

Floras Lake Kite and Windsurf 

• Distance from Wander Orford Cliffs: 14 miles

• Location: 92850 Boice Cope Road, Langlois, OR

Floras Lake is located on the southern Oregon coast, 17 miles south of Bandon. Windsurfing and kiteboarding lessons are available at all ability levels from April through September. Standup paddle boards and kayaks are also available for rent. 

Secret Beach

• Location: Secret Beach, Brookings, OR 97415

As you can guess by its name, Secret Beach is tucked away in a secluded spot near Brookings, Oregon, accessed by a short hike down from highway 101. This means that you're likely to get the whole beach to yourself!

Leashed dogs are welcome. We suggest bringing a picnic basket so you can spend most of your day there.
