How Refunds During Cancellations Work

Check out this guide in case you need to cancel your trip!

You’ve spent months planning your next vacation and even booked your next Wander. However, sometimes unexpected things happen, and changing or canceling your vacation dates is simply unavoidable. No worries! If your trip is more than 14 days before your check-in date, you can freely move your stay!

This means once you cancel your trip and can expect to receive Wander credits for the total value of your booking. The good news is that Wander credits do not expire and you're free to use them once you're ready to make a booking.


Some reminders

  • Cancellations should be made before 4 PM EST, 14 days before the check-in date so that credits are automatically added to your account.

  • Rule of thumb: When booking with Wander, one thing to keep in mind is that we can only offer refunds in the form of Wander credits for booking cancellations.

If it's less than 14 days from the day you need to cancel your trip, this is what we can do:

  • If you're certain that you can't make it to your trip, proceed to cancel the booking.

  • We will try our best to boost your date and attempt to re-book them for you. If we're successful, you'll receive Wander credit for whatever dates we can re-book.

  • If you have friends or family who are interested in taking over the booking, feel free to resell or gift your dates to them. Just make sure they create a Wander account and pass their details to us so we can update the booking.
