Port Orford Heads State Park

Details: The park is located on a scenic bluff above the city and has three main walking trails that run through it: the Cove, Tower and Headland. Depending on the time of the year, the trails offer spectacular views of commercial fishing boats, gray whales, orcas, California and Steller's sea lions, and seabirds.

Floras Lake Kite and Windsurf

Details: Floras Lake is located on the southern Oregon coast, 17 miles south of Bandon. Windsurfing and kiteboarding lessons are available at all ability levels from April through September. Standup paddle boards and kayaks are also available for rent.

Details: Guided horseback beach rides for beginners ages 6 and up. Rides are 90% beach and go out at 10 AM and 12, 2, 4, and 6 PM after spring daylight savings.
