While the house has fast WiFi, cell phone service is limited in Joshua Tree. We recommend taking note of the access code beforehand, which will be sent to you by the Concierge. Cell network strength can vary by topology, time of day, weather, and whether you’re located inside or outside of a vehicle or house.
The desert is home to a variety of amazing creatures, including coyotes, bugs, and other wildlife. It is incredible for those who love to nature-watch from afar, but may not be for everyone. Use caution and do not touch wildlife. Avoid leaving food outside (including residue in grills or fires), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed.
Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM; noise must be under 45 db. We kindly ask that you refrain from hosting parties or creating excessive noise during your stay, as we strive to maintain a peaceful environment for both our guests and neighbors. Outside of quiet hours, noise must be under 55 db.
Amplified outdoor sounds are strictly prohibited. Bringing external speaker equipment may result in a $1,500 fine and/or removal from the property without refund.
Road Conditions
Please note that the road leading to the house is dirt and may have 'washboard' qualities at some points in the drive, depending on the season and road conditions. The road is traversable by any normal car or SUV, but exotic and very low sport cars are not recommended.
Outage Notice
This home is connected to Southern California Edison, and occasional outages may occur. Refunds or discounts are not offered for unplanned outages. Concierge will notify you of any planned outages, and if one is expected to last more than 4 hours, the team can attempt to arrange alternate accommodations.
This home follows a strict maximum occupancy rule. Please make sure that the total number of guests accompanying you (including both children and adults) doesn’t exceed the indicated maximum occupancy above to avoid cancellation of your stay and additional fees.
Bringing guests who are not included in your reservation will result in a $100 per person fine. Additional approved day guests within the occupancy limit are permitted at $35 per person. Please confirm with Concierge in advance.
This is a pet-free hypoallergenic space. No pets are allowed inside the home to maintain a hypoallergenic area as much as possible for our guests’ comfort.
There is a $200/day fee for pool heating at this home, recommended for the colder months. Please contact the Concierge team at least 72 hours before your arrival if you would like the pool heated during your stay.
