Here is a rundown of each of the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort courses.

Bandon Dunes

No. 7 Golf Digest National Ranking

Bandon Dunes was the first of the six courses to be established. David McLay Kidd’s design offers breathtaking scenery of the ocean and dunes. Integrated into the natural surroundings and vegetation of the area, the ongoing winds provide a challenge. Players who take on the course are advised to come with a strong strategy for their play.

Pacific Dunes

No. 2 National Ranking

Designed by Tom Doak, the course works with the landscape to create an effect the effect it was born from the land. Much of the native elements are untouched, including the natural bunkers and rippling fairways. Pacific Dunes begins in a piney area extending into a 60-foot sandy dune, with a fair amount of wind offering a challenge to golfers. The course is short enough to be intermediate-friendly and rugged enough to be exciting for more advanced players.

Bandon Trails

No. 13 Golf Digest National Ranking

Designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, the course begins on a sand dune that gives way to a peaceful meadow. The course then soars up into a lush forest, before ending in the dunes. Bandon Trails provides a great atmosphere for playing and strolling as it is surrounded by rolling dunes and stunning ocean views.

Old MacDonald Golf Course

No. 12 Golf Digest National Ranking

The Old MacDonald Golf Course pays tribute to golf course architect Charles Blair MacDonald. The course was designed by Jim Urbina and Tom Doak aiming to create a course MacDonald would have created with the Bandon coast as a canvas. The course is characterized by challenging angles and deep bunkers offset by the lush greens of the surrounding area.

Sheep Ranch Golf Course

No. 15 Golf Digest National Ranking

Sheep Ranch was once a mysterious golf landscape located just north of the Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Co-founded by Phil Friedmann and Mike Keiser, the land was renovated by the Coore & Crenshaw design team. Today, it offers nine green sites with magnificent views at every hole overlooking the ocean.

Bandon Preserve Golf Course

13 hole par 3 course

This 13 hole, par 3 course offers golfers a unique experience. Designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw, the course opened to the public in 2012. The course begins on a sand dune reaching down into a stunning beachfront with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.

Those who play on the course will be donating to a worthwhile cause. All net proceeds are forwarded to Wild Rivers Coast Alliance, a nonprofit that supports the South Oregon coastal region’s efforts towards conservation and community.

There are six different establishments on the grounds that provide food and drink. These include semi-casual eateries, bars, and upscale steakhouses and grills.
