You can find the bins at the bottom of the staircase directly to the left of the garage -- it's in a brown metal box.
1) Spin the metal wheel to the left to unlock the latch within each door.
2) There are two latches at the top of the door that secure each door to the frame. Pull the bolted lever locks on the top of the doors and open door (it takes two hands).
Note: Very important that guests know how to re-lock the trash when they are done disposing to prevent animal intrusion. There is a mother bear and cubs who visit the neighborhood.
